Founded in 1963, the Society works for the preservation of landmarks and structures in the Waynesboro area.

The Society's headquarters are housed in the Oller House. Working for the preservation of landmarks and structures in the Waynesboro area, our monthly meetings, open to the public, feature speakers on topics of local interest.


Joseph J. Oller House is a historic home located on West Main Street in Waynesboro. Built in 1891–1892, and is a 2 1/-2-story, 17-room brick dwelling in the Queen Anne-style, with a two-story addition added in 1910. The house features a multi-gabled slate roof and a projecting round bay topped by a tower and conical roof. Also on the property is a one-story, wood frame carriage house and two-story, wood frame stable. The Oller House property is the Society's headquarters.

The Oller House is open for visitors:
Thursday: 10AM - 1PM
Friday:  10AM - 1PM
Saturday: 10AM - 1PM

The Oller House is available for private functions and special events.
